The Assistance Unit is responsible for investigating, assessing, and deciding on services according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and works based on the Individual's Needs in Focus (IBIC). You will work primarily from 08:00 to 17:00, with the possibility of flexible hours two hours before or after working hours, as well as up to 50% remote work - always based on the needs of the business. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social welfare officer, you are a central part of the social administration's work to ensure support for the elderly. You will, among other things:

• inform citizens about services and regulations
• investigate, assess, and decide on services according to the Social Services Act and follow up on the services.
• make home visits and maintain close dialogue with individuals in need of support and their relatives.
• collaborate with stakeholders internally and externally.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in and commitment to helping and supporting elderly people. As a person, you are good at collaborating with others, can plan and structure your work, and are analytical and able to make well-founded assessments based on information and regulations.

• Swedish degree in social work or another university/college education that the employer assesses as equivalent
• experience of authority exercise
• Swedish B driver's license
• good Swedish, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have experience with the relevant legislation, case management within elderly care (SoL), and the documentation system Combine.
